Where did the breadcrumb navigation go in SharePoint 2013? It’s still there, it’s just hidden.
To show the folder breadcrumbs on your site follow these steps:
1. Download a copy of the seattle.master
2. Open the file and search for:
<div class="ms-breadcrumb-dropdownBox" style="display:none;">3. Delete the attribute style="display:none;" from the div.ms-breadcrumb-dropdownBox, and set the attribute Visible to true in the inner PopoutMenu
4. Save file with a new name. Upload it to the Masterpage Gallery and publish it.
5. Change the default masterpage to your new masterpage. (Site Settings > Look and Feel > Master page)
6. Done!
